What are your views on the European Social Fund?
The European Social Fund (ESF) was set up to improve employment opportunities in the European Union. It aims to help people fulfill their potential by giving them better skills and better job prospects. It has already helped 108,466 unemployed or inactive participants into jobs, and over 200,000 participants have gained basic skills or qualifications.
NCVO have been asked to provide feedback on the current programme and to make suggestions to improve the next programming period (2014 – 2020).
