Midlands LEPs...for the VCS

Thu, 10/10/2013

Following our well-attended event 'Midlands LEPs...and what opportunities exist for the VCS' on Friday 4th October 2013, we storified the tweets from the event using our hashtag #MidsLEPsVCS and adding in a few other tweets of interest.

Our speakers were Ingrid Gardiner, ESF Effectiveness Manager, NCVO, Rachel Quinn, CEO, One East Midlands and Matthew Poole, West Midlands Manager, Big Lottery Fund.

Rachel also delivered workshop sessions on 'Community led local development + Social and economic inclusion', and Matthew workshopped 'Big Lottery, resourcing the sector within EU programmes'. Also present was Elaine Kingston, RGF Project Manager from Bournville College who delivered workshops on 'Supporting and growing the local workforce'.
