Working Co-operatively: Maintenance and More, our 2015 National Conference
fabulous free conference at the Priory Meeting Rooms (the Birmingham Friends Meeting House) on Friday 20 November 2015.
Join us to kick off National Maintenance Week and
- Hear from volunteers already involved in active Maintenance Co-ops across the regions
- Listen to expert keynote speakers and learn from workshops including project management, grants and funding, and setting up a friends’ group
- Have a one-to-one maintenance surgery with one of our technical team
- Join fascinating FREE walking tours of the City of Birmingham and its built heritage
SPAB technical experts and representatives from the Listed Places of Worship: Roof Repair Fund and the Heritage Lottery Fund will be on-hand to give advice about applying for grants, and there will be plenty of chances to meet other volunteers and professionals from across the regions.
We will round the day off with post-conference drinks at the recently refurbished terracotta and tile Woodman Pub opposite Curzon Street station. The event is free, and includes optional breakfast before we start, plus lunch, tea and coffee.
We can provide Certificates of Attendance for CPD purposes if required.
