West Midlands Police and Crime Commissioner: Victims Summit
The first of a series of summits arranged by Bob Jones, the new West Midlands Police and Crime Commissioner
The event will take place at the Police Training Centre, Tally Ho!, Pershore Road, Birmingham, B5 7RN, focusing on the needs and experiences of victims of crime.
The first event is for victims of crime, and representatives of organisations that support victims of crime.
West Midlands Police Commissioner Bob Jones will speak at the event, as will others including Chief Constable Chris Sims and Javed Khan, Chief Executive of Victim Support.
Deputy Police and Crime Commissioner Yvonne Mosquito said, "Listening to victims is a key priority. Their experiences and expectations are vital to good policing and community safety. This event is a great opportunity for victims and representatives of victims' organisations to come and share their views. This event will also assist decision-making about victim support services in future, and how we can further improve services through partnership working."
