Understanding difference: the importance of place and space in the shaping of regional social economies
Third Sector Research Centre seminar
This seminar will explore the importance of ‘place’ in shaping the space in which social economy develops. Drawing on the findings of doctoral research completed, this presentation will warn against the uniformity of policy expectations as regards to ‘social enterprises’ and call for a better understanding of the various dimensions of difference and contextual determinants.
