Big Potential: Resourcing the VCS at Local Level

RAWM, in partnership with Charity Bank, Social Enterprise UK, Locality and the University of Northampton, is delighted to be organising this launch of the Big Potential grant fund for the West Midlands on Wednesday June 18th at The Crossing at St Paul’s Church in Walsall.

The purpose of this event is to:
• Launch Big Potential in the West Midlands
• Encourage VCSE organisations to apply for funding
• Encourage new providers to increase the diversity pool
• Profile and promote role of the sector
• Explore opportunities

The event will consist of briefing sessions by Big Potential and others, and workshops - details to be confirmed nearer the date.

On the day, registration will be open from 11.30 with lunch being available for delegates and speakers from 12.00.

We are using the hashtag #BigPWM – please use this to contribute to and follow the discussions before, during and after the event.


About Big Potential

Big Potential, a BIG Lottery Fund grant fund, will deliver approximately £10m of grant funding over 3 years to eligible VCSE organisations with the aim of improving the sustainability, capacity and scale of VCSE organisations in order that they may deliver greater social impact.

The programme aims to raise awareness of the social investment market and support VCSEs who want to prepare themselves for social investment.
