Promoting the health & wellbeing of looked after children: Implications of new joint statutory guidance

NCB and the Children’s Partnership is hosting this free seminar as part of their role as Health and Care Voluntary Sector Strategic Partner and Strategic Partner to the Department for Education (DfE).

This event will provide opportunity to disseminate and examine the joint statutory guidance from the Department for Education (DfE) and the Department of Health (DH) on promoting the health and welfare of looked-after children. The guidance is for local authorities, clinical commissioning groups (CCGs) and NHS England.

There will be opportunities to consider the specific issues, challenges and opportunities for addressing some key areas such as mental health, SEN and disability and adoption support.
