Funding at 40: Charitable Trusts West Midlands 40th anniversary conference
Annual regional funders conference and funding fair
Charitable Trusts West Midlands (CTWM) is delighted to announce it's 40th anniversary conference will be held in Sandwell on November 12th in conjunction with SCVO Sandwell's funding fair Meet the Funder 2015
The annual conference on Thursday, November 12th 2015 is being jointly organised with SCVO Sandwell’s Meet the Funder 2015 in celebration of CTWM’s 40th Anniversary. Over 200 participants attended Meet the Funder last year and ranged from local community groups, larger voluntary organisations, all types of funders and infrastructure support agencies.
The conference and funding fair will be an opportunity to share and learn from each others experience and perspective of grant giving and develop good practice in grant making, explore matters of common concern, and forge productive relationships that contribute to the wider benefits and overall sustainability of the region’s voluntary and community sector.
Event organisers have invited the following guest speakers to share their thoughts and views on how trusts, foundations and other organisations in the voluntary sector are responding to the changing landscape of funding to the third sector and what this means for society, including for those most vulnerable.
Panel of guest speakers:
- John Mulligan and Laurence Scott, Esmee Fairbairn Charitable Foundation (confirmed)
- Karl Wilding, NCVO (confirmed)
- Emma Prest, Datakind UK (tbc)
- Melanie Mills, Big Society Capital ( confirmed)
